About Order Totals

The order total shown online is an estimate and may differ from the final cost charged to your credit card on delivery or pickup
day. These factors can affect your final cost:

Sale items
Our special On Sale Today offers begin Thursday of every week and continue through midnight the following Wednesday. The
price of an item on our online shopping site is always the same price of that item in our stores, including items on sale.

Note that your order is charged to your credit card on delivery or pickup day.

  • If an item is not on sale when you order, but is on sale on delivery day, you pay the sale price.
  • If an item is on sale when you order, but is not on sale on delivery day, you pay the regular price.

If you select a day for delivery or pickup that is after next Wednesday, the current sale price shown online may not be valid. If
sale prices in your online shopping basket may not be valid on your delivery or pickup day, our service automatically alerts you
during online checkout. During checkout, you will be given the option of keeping the sale items in your order and possibly
paying regular price for them, or changing your order.

Buy one, get one free
When an item is marked “Buy one, get one free,” in most instances you should select a quantity of at least two of that item in
order to receive the second one free.

For example, if a variety of boxed cereal is marked “Buy one, get one free,” select a quantity of two for that variety of cereal
in your online shopping basket. You will receive two boxes of cereal in your order. The cost of one box will be charged to your
credit card and the second box will be included free with your order. If you select a quantity of four, you will receive four boxes
and pay for only two boxes and so forth for all even-numbered quantities selected.

The estimated order total shown online will NOT show the savings associated with the free second item(s). The receipt received
with your order will show the savings and the correct amount will be charged to your credit card on delivery/pickup day.

Weighable items
The amount you pay for weighable items is finalized when we have the exact weight of any weighable items in your basket.
These items are weighed in the store when your order is processed and charged to your credit card on delivery or pickup day.

Promotions
We occasionally offer promotional savings that may be applied to an online grocery order. The amount saved may not be
included in the order total shown online, but the savings will be applied to the final cost charged to your credit card on delivery
or pickup day.

  • Some promotions require you to enter a code during the online checkout process. A brief description explaining the
    promotion savings will appear below the summary of your order total shown online. If the promotion is a "dollars off"
    amount, the savings will appear in the order total. If the promotion is for a specific "percent off" your order, the savings
    will not be included in the order total shown online, but will be shown on the printed receipt that accompanies your
    order.
  • Some promotions do not require you to enter a code and are automatically applied to the final cost charged to your
    credit card on delivery or pickup day. A brief description explaining the promotion savings will appear below the
    summary of your order total, but the savings will not be included in the order total shown online. The savings will be
    shown on the printed receipt that accompanies your order.

Substitutions
If an item in your basket is not available at the store where your order is being filled on delivery or pickup day, we will
substitute that item with the same item in a different size. If the item is not available in another size, we will substitute the item
with a comparable brand in the same size you requested. You will be charged the price of the substitute item.

If you do not want us to select a substitute item, you can check the "Do Not Substitute" box associated with that item in the
list shown in your shopping basket. Or you can click "Add an item note" in the product listings as you shop and then check
"Do not substitute this item".

The final cost charged to your credit card on delivery or pickup day may differ from your order total shown online due to the
differing price of a substituted item or the deletion of that item from your basket if you checked the "Do Not Substitute"
box.

A general substitution policy for your entire order may be set during the checkout process. If you elect to allow substitutions
for an entire order, you may still mark individual items as "Do Not Substitute" in your basket.

Credits
Credits (or charges) that we have previously entered for your online grocery shopping account are automatically applied to
your next order.

Some credits resulting from promotions, such as the $10 off credit you receive when a referred friend places their first order,
can be applied only once per order. For instance, if you have three $10 off credits held in your online grocery shopping
account for referring a friend, one $10 credit will be applied to your next three orders.

Tax
Prepared foods and non-food items are subject to state sales tax. Because tax rates vary by city and county, the tax rate for
your order is determined by the store that is fulfilling your order.

Wines and Spirits

If your order includes wines or spirits, you must schedule a pickup or delivery time that occurs Monday through Saturday.
We can not deliver alcohol or offer in-store pickup of alcohol on Sundays.

If your delivery or pickup time is on a Sunday, any wines or spirits you have selected will not be included in your order. Your
credit card will be charged only for the items you receive with your order.
